“A truly beautiful and thought-provoking piece of work”
twins
twins is the moniker for the songs of South East London based musician, tattooist and visual artist Loz KeyStone.
Loz has been a familiar face on the London music and tattoo scenes for years. He played guitar for the live outfit of future-facing-art-synth-crooners Rocheman and has released solo, instrumental albums under his own name. With drummer Harry Pope, he co-created ‘SURRENDER’ - an improvised duet for amplified tattoo machine and drums which was debuted at Vortex Jazz Club in September 2023.
2024 saw the opening of his first solo exhibition ‘Nameless Drawings From Nothing’ at Deptford’s Open 205 Gallery. The same year also gave birth to the instrumental album ‘Craobh Haven’ - the dreamlike product of a week’s residency in a cabin in the Scottish village of the same name with Glaswegian trumpeter Christos Stylianides. London label SWIMS picked the album up and it was released on vinyl with launch parties at London’s Servant Jazz Quarters and Glasgow’s Laylow.
2025 sees him on residency in a caravan outside of Bristol where he’s writing and recording ‘Caravan’, the debut twins EP.
“A spacious atmospheric invigoration, fit for traversing wide sprawls of nature… resembling Radiohead in its tendency to expand from quaintly impactful guitar lines and serene vocals into a more expansive emotive power”
“Feels like a breath caught between worlds… the lyrics ache with honesty, tracing the quiet aftermath of surrender and searching”
