SURRENDER

Surrender is an improvised duet for amplified tattoo machine and drums performed by multi-disciplinary artist and musician Loz KeyStone and drummer Harry Pope.

In this unconventional fusion of music and visual arts, both the audience and the participants are asked to embrace the beauty of surrendering to the unknown, to witness the profound connection between music and the body, and to experience the transformative power of art in its most visceral form. 

The buzzing, mechanical cadence of the machine's amplified motor is manipulated live in response to the drum score which in turn both informs and is informed by the creation of a live, improvised tattoo.
